THE FIVE PILLARS
1.THE TESTIMONY OF FAITH(Shahada)-"la illaha illa Allah,Muhammadur rasoolu Allah.>>>there is no true god (deity) but GOD(Allah),and Muhammad is the Messenger of GOD.
2.PRAYER-performed at dawn ,noon,mid-afternoon,sunset,and night.(5 times a day).
3.ZAKAT-giving a specified percentage on certain properties to certain classes of needy people.(2.5% annually).
4.FASTING-abstaining from food,drink,and sexual relations during the month of Ramadhan.
5.THE PILGRIMAGE TO MAKKAH(Hajj)-an obligation once in a lifetime for those who are physically and financially able to perform.
